Mathilde Allançon entered the insurance industry through an unexpected route. Her journey started with a deep interest in understanding how technology and data can transform the way society governs climate risk. With a background in social sciences and business, she was naturally drawn to fields where environment, technology, and strategy intersect.


Niala Butt’s journey into insurance began at the age of 17, when a simple note card in her school careers office caught her attention and sparked a curiosity that would shape more than 25 years of professional dedication. What started as an interest quickly became a lifelong commitment to understanding risk, delivering fair outcomes, and recognizing the human stories behind every policy and claim.
Sima Adhya’s professional journey is not a typical one in the insurance industry. Her path began with a deep and enduring interest in space. After completing a science degree, she went on to earn a master’s degree and then a PhD in astrodynamics. Her early career was rooted firmly in the UK space industry, where she worked on real engineering challenges rather than purely theoretical problems.
