Rene Rodriguez – A Modern Voice Redefining Influence and Leadership

Rene Rodriguez

Rene Rodriguez has spent more than twenty-seven years studying how influence, leadership, and human behavior work. His journey did not begin in large companies or on big stages. It began with a deep desire to understand what truly drives people. Over time, he built a career that brought him into rooms with global leaders, entrepreneurs, and sales teams who wanted to communicate better and lead with confidence.

Through his Amplifii framework, he teaches people how to combine neuroscience, storytelling, and authentic communication to create meaningful impact. At EliteX, we are proud to have Rene Rodriguez as part of the edition: Transatlantic Executive Leadership: Redefining the Business Landscape, 2025.

Growing up bilingual and bicultural shaped his understanding of human behavior early in life. He saw how language, environment, and culture influence the way people think and respond. This background later inspired his interest in global leadership, especially the connection between North America and Europe. He believes that influence is universal, but how it is used must adjust to cultural differences. What works in one country may not work in another, and leaders must respect these differences to succeed.

He sees storytelling as a powerful tool that helps leaders guide people through change.

Rene describes his leadership style as influence-driven. “He’s learned that authority may command obedience, but only trust wins hearts. Leadership isn’t a position – it’s the quiet confidence others place in you when you’ve earned it.” He focuses on creating safe spaces where people feel comfortable sharing ideas and taking risks. He relies on clarity, vulnerability, and purpose to guide his communication. He knows that logic helps people understand, but emotion inspires them to act. By connecting both, he helps leaders create stronger, more meaningful relationships.

One of the defining moments in his career happened in 2020, when the pandemic suddenly stopped all his in-person events. He lost more than a hundred scheduled engagements within days. Instead of reacting with panic, he leaned on the principles of neuroscience. He created a free video series to help people manage fear, communicate during crisis, and lead with compassion. This experience taught him that true leadership appears in difficult moments, when people need direction and stability. It reminded him that influence does not come from being in the spotlight but from guiding others with clarity when uncertainty is high.

Rene places great importance on trust when working across different cultures. For him, trust begins with self-awareness. Leaders must understand their own experiences and assumptions before engaging with others. He uses deep listening and storytelling as tools to bridge gaps between people. He believes the human brain connects better with stories than with data, and meaningful stories help people feel understood. Once people feel understood, they become more open to collaboration.

He sees strong opportunities growing between North America and Europe. He believes the future of leadership will involve a mix of digital trust and personal connection. As technology becomes more powerful, leaders will need new ways to communicate effectively both online and in person. He expects growth in leadership development, communication training that uses artificial intelligence, and innovation hubs that combine the strengths of both regions. He believes the leaders who will succeed are the ones who blend technology with empathy.

He teaches that influence begins with self-awareness and meeting people where they are.

Rene also understands the challenges that come with working in global markets. One major challenge is assumption bias, where people assume their way of working is the only way. He teaches leaders to adapt their messages to different cultural contexts. “He’s learned that influence has little to do with changing yourself and everything to do with creating understanding – the kind that turns effort into collaboration.”

In his own organization, he encourages innovation through curiosity and feedback. He treats feedback as useful information rather than criticism. He asks his team to question outdated assumptions and supports a culture where emotional safety is a priority. When people feel safe to experiment, creativity grows naturally.

He believes technology has a powerful effect on leadership. It can strengthen communication but can also create problems if used without emotional intelligence. He believes the strongest leaders in the future will be those who use technology to enhance trust, clarity, and connection.

Rene is also committed to supporting diversity and inclusion. He believes in finding hidden talent and creating spaces where everyone feels they belong. However, he focuses not only on inclusion but also on building capability. He believes people must be prepared and empowered to contribute meaningfully. For him, inclusion without preparation is incomplete. When people are trained, skilled, and confident, they add real value and grow as leaders.

Looking ahead, Rene sees a future where influence becomes the key skill for leaders across the world. He believes storytelling will help bridge the gap between innovation and understanding. He sees a world where leaders use neuroscience, empathy, and clear communication to connect across cultures, inspire action, and guide people through change.

He believes real leadership is built on trust, clarity, and human connection.
