Arina Man: Redefining Insurance Through Human-Centered Innovation

Arina Man is a driven and passionate entrepreneur who found her path to the insurtech world through personal experience and a deep understanding of both technology and people. Her journey started with a major life shift—becoming a mother of three. She quickly realized how hard it was to manage a demanding corporate career while raising a young family. That challenge pushed her to take a bold step: she left the corporate world and started her own business. What began as a necessity soon turned into an exciting journey of entrepreneurship. One venture led to another, and over time, she became a serial entrepreneur. Among these ventures, K2G eventually stood out as not just another project, but the main focus of her energy and ambition. At EliteX, we are proud to have Arina Man as part of the edition: 05 Impactful Insurtech Leaders in 2025.

K2G was not created with a single vision at first. It started as one of several projects Arina was involved in. But as the work deepened, so did her passion for it. The company became a platform for transforming the insurance industry using technology and human-centered design. What drew her in was the potential for real impact. K2G represented a unique mix of the things she valued most—innovation, purpose, and empowerment. It gave her the chance to help people and reshape an industry that had been slow to evolve.

“The most successful companies will be those that stay flexible, stay curious, and stay connected to real-world problems.”

The core problem K2G aims to solve in the insurance space is the issue of complicated, fragmented data. Insurance companies sit on large amounts of raw data, but it’s often hard to use and understand. K2G’s platform, powered by artificial intelligence, changes this. It can quickly turn raw datasets into ready-to-use insights without any need for coding. The system includes smart agents that handle data cleaning, transformation, enrichment, and modeling. This means less manual work, fewer errors, and much faster decision-making. Whether used on its own or built into a company’s systems, K2G helps insurance providers work smarter, become more agile, and serve customers better in today’s digital world.

What sets K2G apart from traditional insurance models is its strong focus on outcomes. Arina believes in starting every project by sitting down with product managers and decision-makers to understand their key business goals. They talk about the pain points, the challenges, and what’s not working. Only after this deep understanding is a solution designed—one that is specific, timely, and effective. This results-driven approach is still unusual in insurance, where many companies focus on improving old systems instead of rethinking them from the ground up.

Technology has completely changed how insurers work and how customers interact with insurance. With faster data processing and more powerful tools, insurers are no longer able to stay in their comfort zones. They are being pushed to modernize. Companies that continue to rely on old, slow processes risk being left behind. K2G helps them step into the future. It doesn’t just give them tools—it changes the way they think about what’s possible.

One of the biggest challenges Arina faced while building K2G was timing. When K2G started, many insurance companies still took pride in their legacy systems. They were hesitant to adopt new technology. But technology was evolving fast—sometimes faster than companies could keep up. The pace of innovation became a challenge in itself. Insurance companies often take a long time to make decisions, which can slow progress. To deal with this, Arina and her team made K2G flexible. They started exploring new ways to use their tools beyond insurance. Their data analysis skills, for example, proved useful in many other industries. This openness allowed them to grow and stay relevant, even when the insurance world moved slowly.

Among the things Arina is proudest of is the impact K2G has had on its clients. The platform has helped insurance companies achieve real, measurable results. For her, that’s what success looks like—not just having a smart product, but seeing it make a difference in the real world.

Looking ahead, Arina believes that insurtech is going to change how people view insurance completely. She gives a simple example from her own home. Her kids often have friends over, and she’s noticed that no one ever says they want to work in insurance when they grow up. That says a lot. To younger generations, insurance seems boring or outdated. But insurtech is changing that. It’s making the industry more creative and exciting. It’s opening doors for fresh talent and new ways of thinking.

“We don’t just build software; we solve real problems with real impact.”

When it comes to innovation, Arina has a clear view on trust and privacy. For her, these are not things to be balanced or negotiated. They are must-haves. Even the best technology loses its value if it breaks trust or invades privacy. That’s why K2G always puts customer security first. Every feature is built with care, knowing that people’s data must be handled with respect and responsibility.

There is often a fear that AI and machine learning might replace human workers, especially in traditional fields like insurance. But Arina disagrees. She believes that insurance is, at heart, about people. Technology should not replace people—it should support them. At K2G, they have used AI to take over routine, repetitive tasks like cleaning data or generating reports. This allowed the company to reduce the need for some operational roles. But it also gave their experts more time to work on strategic and creative tasks. This is where humans shine. Arina sees a future where humans and machines work together, each doing what they do best.

Her advice to new entrepreneurs entering insurtech is practical and honest. First, she says, know that insurance is a slow-moving industry. If you’re funding your own startup, you need patience. It can take a long time to get results. If you have venture capital backing, make sure to invest in marketing and public relations. Even the best product can go unnoticed if no one knows about it. No matter your funding path, you need to understand the industry well—and be able to tell a strong story. Insurance is conservative. You’re not just selling software; you’re earning trust.

As for the future, Arina believes that change will continue at a rapid pace. She was recently asked to pick a workshop topic for an insurance event in 2026, and she found it nearly impossible. The industry is shifting so quickly that no one can say what will matter most in a year’s time. But one thing is certain: transformation will continue. The most successful companies will be those that stay flexible, stay curious, and stay connected to real-world problems.

Arina Man’s journey in insurtech is not just about business—it’s about making a difference. From starting a company out of personal necessity to leading a powerful platform that is reshaping insurance, her story shows what can happen when determination meets innovation. With K2G, she is building not just a product, but a new vision for an industry in need of fresh ideas and human-focused solutions.
